What an action does
An action takes the payload from the node above it, does its work, and hands what it produced to the node below. Every action has an Input inlet; most have one Output outlet, and a few fork so the work behind an answer never runs when nobody answered.
Five of them stop the flow and wait for a person — User Input, Form, Pick from List, HTML View, Notification Prompt. Only the branch that reached them waits.
