How it works

  1. 1

    Every day at 9am

It runs on its own, whether or not you are there.

  2. 2

    Old items are found

Anything that has sat in the Trash for more than thirty days.

  3. 3

    They go for good

Those are deleted permanently, and you are told how many went.

New PDFs in a folder are read and filed by what they are: contract, invoice, receipt, reading or other, each into its own folder under Documents/Sorted. If Jev is not confident, the file stays put and you get a notification. Never overwrites. Setup: choose the folder and connect Jev.

New images in a folder get a name that says what is in them, such as golden-retriever-park.png. An AI model looks at each new image and renames it with a short description. It never overwrites an existing file. Setup: choose the folder and an AI provider with a model that can read images.

Clears screenshots off your Desktop as you take them. Each new screenshot moves to Pictures/Screenshots, so they are all in one place. Nothing is deleted and it never overwrites a file. No AI. Setup: choose the folder your screenshots save to. On a non-English Mac, change one word in the rule.
