Terms of Service

Last updated: July 13, 2026

These terms govern your purchase and use of Watchflows ("the Software"). By purchasing, downloading, or running the Software you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install the Software and request a refund per the refund policy.

License grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and run the Software on Macs you own or control. The license is per individual user. Free updates within the major version (1.x) are included. Major version upgrades (2.x, 3.x, etc.) may require a separate paid upgrade.

Watchflows Cloud (subscriptions)

Watchflows Cloud is a set of optional paid subscriptions, separate from the one-time app license above. The one-time license grants the perpetual app rights described under "License grant"; Watchflows Cloud adds a recurring monthly allowance of Sparks (defined below) plus the hosted webhook relay. Bringing your own local or third-party LLM stays free forever under the one-time license — the Cloud plans are the only recurring products we sell.

Plans and prices

Each annual plan is billed at eleven times its monthly price — one month free. Prices exclude any applicable taxes.

Automatic renewal

Every plan renews automatically on both intervals: a monthly plan renews each month and an annual plan renews each year, at the then-current price for your plan, charged to the payment method on file, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize these recurring charges.

Annual plans carry an added notice: before each yearly renewal we send a reminder email to the address on your subscription, ahead of the renewal date, so you can cancel first if you no longer want the plan.

Canceling

You can cancel at any time — from inside Watchflows (which opens your Stripe billing portal through an emailed link) or from any browser at watchflows.app/manage, with no login and no app required. Canceling stops the next renewal. We do not prorate or refund the unused part of the current period; your plan — including its monthly Spark allowance and relay access — stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for, and then does not renew. Refunds are covered in the refund policy.

Sparks

Sparks are Watchflows app-action credits — a prepaid unit that meters certain in-app actions. They are a billing credit, not money, a currency, or a stored-value instrument, and they carry no cash value except as expressly stated in the refund policy.

Your plan's monthly Spark allowance is use-it-or-lose-it: unused allowance Sparks carry a one-month grace period and then expire. Allowances are anchored to your account and degrade gracefully rather than hard-stopping when they run low. Automatic recharge is off — we will never buy you more Sparks without you asking.

You can also buy Spark packs ($5, $10, and $25) as one-time top-ups. Spark packs do not expire. A pack draws from the same account balance as your monthly allowance — there is a single identity per account, with no separate credit key or anonymous device token — and is used as overflow after your monthly allowance is spent.

If a Cloud plan lapses

A standalone Cloud plan (Standard or Pro bought without a one-time app license) is what grants you app use. If it lapses — you cancel, or a payment fails — automation pauses: your flows, canvas, and configuration are preserved and untouched, but triggers stop firing until you resubscribe, at which point automation resumes. If a renewal payment fails, we don't pause anything right away: your card is retried for up to 14 days while your plan keeps working, and access pauses only if payment still hasn't gone through at the end of that window. If you own a one-time Watchflows license, your app is never gated this way: the perpetual license keeps the app fully usable, and only the Cloud extras (the monthly Sparks and the hosted relay) pause when a Cloud plan lapses.

What you may do

What you may not do

Third-party services

Workflows may interact with third-party services you configure (AI providers, webhooks, APIs, email, file storage, etc.). You are responsible for following the terms and privacy policies of those services and for any costs they charge you. We are not a party to the relationship between you and those services.

No warranty

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the Software at your own risk and are responsible for backing up data that workflows touch.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to the Software is limited to the amount you paid us for the Software and any Watchflows Cloud plan in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility.

Refunds

See the refund policy. Short version: a 14-day free trial replaces the refund window; we'll still make it right when something is broken.

Termination

Your license terminates automatically if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies. The "no warranty" and "limitation of liability" sections survive termination.

Changes

We may revise these terms when product or legal realities change. Material changes will be noted in release notes and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
